The Wall of Love

A place to remember Jackie, and to hold one another. Leave a few words, or tell the whole story of what she meant to you — every word here was written by someone who watched the nest, and checked before it appeared, so the wall stays as kind as the community it comes from.

What she meant to us

Longer memories from the people who watched her, in their own words. Each story has a permanent page of its own, made to be kept and shared.

The first winter I found the cam, Jackie was incubating through a storm.

I watched for three hours straight. This is a test story and will be removed shortly.

Notes from the community

Thank you for all you have done for Jackie. She brought a world together in love when there is so much tearing us apart. May you live forever in Shadow's and our hearts dear Jackie. We love you.

We love you so much, Jackie. You are the most gentle, loving mommy and mate, and you are STRONG! You have given so much love to this world, and the whole world loves and cherishes you. Everyone, please pray for Jackie. The power of group prayer can heal. If we all pray and direct healing, loving energy to Jackie, she can heal. She needs our help. We are here for you every step of the way, dear Jackie. We love you. We are here.

There has never been an eagle who's touched my heart like Jackie. I think she means the same to many of you. Here's to keeping Jackie and every eagle and wild raptor in our thoughts and prayers.

As we all patiently wait for news about Jackie's prognosis, I think it's important that we also allow ourselves a few smiles along the way.

The community feels it's important to have a place to remember Jackie … people have been coming from out of town, all over the place.
